My playing is influenced by the American Song Book's greatest writers (ie: Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Duke Ellington, etc.) and 50's, 60's and 70's rock with a healthy dose of Latin phrasing and feel thrown in to boot. The solo sound is unlike anyone else in that I am hearing saxes and horns when I'm playing, so it's a lot of very melodic, single note, horn type of lines using a guitar setup unlike anyone else's.
