As bass player for the Tearmagnets, Chris has warmed up stages for Clarence Clemmons, Rory Gallagher, Dave Maneketti (Of Y and T, Ronnie Montrose, Robin Ford, Rik Emmett and other well known acts. Chris has also played bass for legendary jazz great Jules Broussard.

Chris has created her own band and has released the studio CD entitled (Chris Ellis; She's Not a Nice Girl) Chris continues to play different venues with various bands as well as performing as a soloist.

In her new band The Shadow Opera, Chris performs her own songs as well as jazz, latin, blues and other covers designed for dancing. In this band, Chris teams up with Diego Picetti (Also of CD Baby fame). Together Chris and Diego have written several songs and trade insane solos on guitar and violin. It gets pretty heated. Please check out www.shadowopera.com as you don't want to miss this band.

From the sexy sultry sound of the title track, She's Not a Nice Girl, to the very touching emotional, Other Side of Heartache. Not only does this album have superior vocals. It also contains some great instrumentation. "Is That You?", has excellent guitar work! This album can get you grooving and also reach your heart with feelings we all feel. A fantastic album to own for every occasion of life.
