Original folk music on electric guitar about life in the post-industrial economy. Funny, angry, smart and anti-war, the record describes international politics, SUV drivers and life with dogs. It's been a long time since we've had a good year.

Album Notes

Chris lives in Sparks, a small city next to Reno, Nevada. He and his friends Lee Dazey and Kim Elise ran an open mic night for seven years at Dreamer's Coffeeshop in downtown Reno. During this time he participated in and sang at anti-war demonstrations in and around Reno, protesting the illegal and stupid wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Chris has been playing music since he was a teenager, and has been performing as a solo musician since the late 1980s, when he lived in Lansing, Michigan. In the early 90s he got married and moved to New Mexico, where he attended grad school and continued to play in coffeeshops and bars in and around Las Cruces. In 1998 he and his wife moved to Reno, where he has made a name for himself writing and performing original music about life in the post-industrial world.

His music is orignal, creative, sardonic, desperate and hopeful. Just like him.
