Chris Hamilton is quickly becoming one of Canada’s favourite children’s musicians by constantly performing at festivals, theatres, schools, shopping centres, libraries and anywhere else kids are. He has been performing for children since 2003 and now averages around 80 shows per year.

Sticky Situations is his debut children's CD, and what a debut it is! On top of rave reviews from parenting magazines and the toughest critics (kids and moms), Sticky Situations was also nominated for a 2005 Western Canadian Music Award for “Outstanding Children’s Recording”.

  • Entertaining for kids and adults

    Clever, very funny lyrics and catchy tunes. My seven year-old loves this album so much we had to replace a lost copy. I think my husband and I like it even better than she does, since we walk around singing the songs (and not for the usual reason: that annoying children's tunes can get stuck in one's head until one has the overwhelming desire to bang said noggin against the nearest wall). Nope, this is just plain fun music for any age.

    Thanks Chris for sharing your talent. This is a great CD. Musically it captures the vibe and energy of true blues, funk and rock'n'roll. Most CDs for kids are badly-recorded. Often the poorly-written songs are so diluted that one cannot even determine the style of music that influenced it...yeeesh...quick pass me the knitting needles so I can perforate my own eardrums...STICKY SITUATIONS in contrast, offers catchy melodies, fun words, good sound quality and rockin'hooks making this CD one that parents don't have to endure...but actually enjoy! Thanks!!!

    Way too much fun. We keep the Cd in the van and play it wherever we go. No more "are we there yet?" -- Only.. Mom.. play that one again... and again... and again!!!

    Terrific fun for kids and parents. Chris Hamilton's music is high energy, funny and sounds great. Older kids will some jokes that younger ones might not get, though they'll all enjoy it. There's a touch of "naughty" humor but it's all in good fun.

    My son and daughter both love this music. That is more than ok for mommy as well! It makes you feel happy. My kids' favorite songs are the one about Lily and the Sleeping Bugs song. Actually all the songs are catchy. We love the whole CD!"

    Since the moment we opened this CD, we have not listened to anything else. The 50 kids I tested this out on, LOVED IT. I have ordered other cds to give to my friends and all of their kids. We have tested it with kids aged 0-5 and have had no kids who were not reacting to it in some way. DANCING, SINGING and requesting AGAIN AGAIN. Hope to hear more coming out of SURREY, BC and STICKY SITUATIONS!.
