Album Notes

"As its generic title suggests, '2007' is a snapshot of where I was artistically at a specific moment in time. The music is entirely improvised, and really hits on a wide range of emotions.
I really appreciate the efforts of the other musicians on this disc. As you'll find out, they're all great young players.
We recorded the majority of the album with Alan Dusel at Starfields in Buffalo, NY, and highly recommend his services.

Chris Kepner is a musician, writer and painter who lives in New York City.

Also appearing on this CD are Paul Roth (The Jimdangles), JJ Wright (President Merkin Muffley), Michelangelo Carubba (Dopapod, Crucial) and Jeff Tanski. Four of the five musicians once played together in the band Black Tie Jazz.

The cover is an image of an original painting by Chris Kepner, and the album art contains four other such images.
