Album Notes

This album contains a selection of solo piano recordings from the last few years. Each piece is entirely improvised, recorded after a little experimentation to flesh out an idea, with only minor edits afterward. Different takes play with the idea and the pieces are numbered accordingly: the first number represents the core concept and the second, the variation.

The inspiration for the hands suite came from 3 pieces by Paul Cantrell published on his “In The Hands” music blog: Natrona, Wyarno and Torrington Lope.
