Album Notes

Chris Rosser is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer and producer. As a solo performer, he tours nationally playing at festivals, clubs and listening rooms and has released three recordings. With the world fusion trio Free Planet Radio, he plays jazz piano and a multitude of Indian and Turkish instruments. He also tours as the keyboardist in the ensemble of master Sufi musician Omar Faruk Tekbilek.

Rosser has won songwriting contests at the Rocky Mountain Folks and Merle Watson Festivals, and was awarded a prestigious NC Arts Council songwriter fellowship. He studied jazz piano at the University of Miami, and Hindustani classical music with world famous musician Ali Akbar Khan.

Rosser has also produced and engineered over eighty CD projects for other artists in his Hollow Reed Arts recording studio. His song, “Make A Wish” was recently featured on the season premiere of the TLC hit show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.
