Album Notes

The Christi Baeuerle's sound is most notably recognized for her version of the Edwin Starr classic, "War," which has aired every Monday night for the past two seasons for the hit CBS show "Family Law," The television show theme song can be found on her self-titled debut album www.christibband.com. Though unsigned, the Christi Baeuerle sound and self-titled CD, co-written and co-produced by Christi with song writer/ producer/sound engineer, Tom Fletcher, have not gone unnoticed.

In 1999, she was nominated as "Best Rock Artist" at the Los Angeles Music Awards and has been voted as one of the "Top 100 Unsigned Artists in Los Angeles" for the past 2 years in a row. She regularly receives high accolades from numerous music reviewers at publications such as LA Times, Music Connection, Rock City News, etc. She is a regular performer in the Los Angeles circuit at the Roxy, The Whisky, The Troubadour, and has even performed on the main stage at the House of Blues and many other famous venues in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, MIS in Detroit, Michigan and Nashville, TN. She has also performed the National Anthem at the International Mercedes Cup Tennis Tournament three years in a row.

Recently she co-wrote a song, which has been picked as the title song for an HBO Film and has recently been notified that one of her songs is being considered for some episodes of the Lifetime television show "The Division."

Christi Baeuerle was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She started performing at the ripe age of four, and her passion has always been to be an entertainer. Before her teens, unlike other girls, she would spend hours at a time locked in her room writing, recording, and singing to her favorite songs. As a teenager she won and competed in several state and county talent competitions.

Next she moved to Miami where she got involved in television and film projects like "Lawless," "Striptease," "Saved By The Light," "Gone Fishing," "Something About Mary," "Pensacola," and many more. She eventually made her way on to Star Search and was a finalist in the spokes model competition

With the completion of the Christi Baeuerle Band CD she looks to begin the college and national circuit. Already her song, "Love Me" has been reproduced as a dance mix in Sacramento and is being promoted around the Capital City circuit. I never thought the times of "The Graces" will come back. Refreshing arena power pop/rock never heard from any artist nowadays. I greatly recommend listening to "Won't play dead" to hear what I'm talking about. Thanks for this music experience (and she looks great, too ;-))
