A thoroughly unique individual, accessories designer and illustrator Christina Brodie was a botanical artist in a previous life. Her aim is "just to make good music"; her heroes are Kate Bush, Judith Durham, Ann Wilson, Marlene Dietrich, J.S. Bach, and Henry Mancini. A brilliant collection combining soul, mind, past and present. If words talk, they do so best in epic poems written to music. The distinctive style of Christina Brodie is a flame burning brightly in an otherwise mundane and done music business. Highly recommend this album to all thinking, feeling people.
