Christina began studying harp at the age of 12 and after a mere 3 months, began playing out professionally at restaurants, weddings, and special events. Went on to study Harp Performance at Ohio University and upon returning to Cleveland, began a very successful private practice. For many years she played at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Cleveland and jammed with some of Rock and Roll’s most prestigious luminaries that happened to be passing through town such as Robert Plant, Billy Joel, and Steven Tyler.
In 1992, Christina produced and released her first recording, "Golden Harp Lullabies" with the St. Angela Choir that integrated various styles to create a soothing atmosphere designed for children to fall asleep to. In 1997, released her second recording titled, "Egyptian Harp Dreams" that was distributed to Borders, Barnes & Nobles, The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, and Art Museums across the U.S. as well as Indigo in Canada. This CD contains a collection of Egyptian folk songs which she arranged for the harp dating as far back as 896 AD that is truly representative of the unique mysticism of ancient Egypt.
And now in 2006 comes the release of "Harp Rock" containing 14 Classic Rock Standards Christina uniquely arranged for harp using an effects processor. Combined with Producer Eric Whited’s added production, "Harp Rock" creates a most atmospherically ethereal vibe on songs you have listened to for years - Rock & Roll has never sounded so serene!

Harp Rock
author: John Roh
I enjoy harp music quite a bit; couple that with rock classics, and its a nice change.
I like that it's being used to bring it to more of the Modern Day so to speak -
I enjoy listening to this one and will be looking for her next release as well as tracking down some of her past releases :-)

Great CD. Liked it so much I ordered 5 more for gifts! Just can't figure out why it gets recorded in Cleveland about 20 minutes from my house but I have to buy it from somewhere in Oregon which is a bit longer of a drive!
