Album Notes

A guitar, banjo, 40-year-old half broken down PA system, a beat up 15 watt amp, and a 2.5 foot tall robot used as a tip cup are the tools of Christopher Bell’s trade. Well, that isn’t entirely true, there are also the songs, not just your typical songwriter material these days either. Drawing lyrical inspiration not only from personal experience but from stories and even tv shows.

Christopher is a multi-instrumentalist who has played in various bands and fronted the collective, Eudora. In 2004, he left Jamestown, and started playing under his own name. There, he started making a name for himself at a number of open mic nights in Orlando. Moving also marked a change in his musical style, and choice of instruments, when he picked up the banjo.

Christopher calls his music “modern folk.” His musical influences range from Modern day indie rock, bluegrass and even a bit of jazz. He has been compared to Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens

2006 Marked a great year for Christopher. He released a four song EP to comemorate his first of 3 tours. The largest of which brought him through 16 states on the east coast and part of the mid west, broadening his views of this portion of the country. With his enthusiasm and banjo, Christopher continues to travel and spread his musical talents.
