ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Fundamental rock carries vignettes centered amid the sagebrush, prairie and pine of Montana. Constructed around Christopher\'s best guitar work to date, Swimming Woman illustrates a panorama ranging from the mountain lakes and railways of a boy\'s nightmares to the mistakes, regret and strain of later life.

Christopher performs all instrumentation. Guitar, bass, vocals and keyboards.

Chris comments on Swimming Woman:

I spent the first twenty years of my life in Montana. Looking back to the boundless space, epic landscape and wandering imagination that formed my childhood, I felt compelled to portray that memory musically, paint those two decades for safekeeping in a collection of stories, and take a step forward in my exploration of the guitar. From recollections real and unreal I extracted the subject matter therein. Those alive, preserved for inspection and those dead, exhumed for service in caution.
