ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After spending his 20's playing in two handfuls of bands, CKC began playing small stages in the dive bars of Northwest Arkansas by himself. He spent an entire year honing the solo musician set list and solidifying his partnership with a loop station and learning drums. A phone call was made to a former band mate, Graham Waks from Whiskey King Coalition, to team up and record a solo e.p. at LeftPlusRightMusic in East Nashville (owned and operated by Waks). The two spent six days straight recording, sleeping on studio couches and consuming copious amounts of coffee & beer.

The product is a five song affair the two consider an introduction into the minds of a classically trained drum instructor/engineer and a singer/songwriter that likes simple vocal melodies and dabbles in a variety of instruments. The first of many, Routine or Adventure is the work of the two hoping to find an audience who find it pleasant, saporous and relishing to the soul of anyone riding the fine line of choosing excitement or regimen.
