Curtain Call

by Christopher Sanders

The reviews are in! He "booms out notes that are legitimately thrilling" and his "deep baritone velvet voice is unforgettable". This collection of show tunes both old and new recall a time when the legitimate baritone voice ruled the Great White Way.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The beginnings of Christopher's career can be traced back to his youth, when he began performing professionally as a magician in the San Francisco Bay Area. After being "discovered" by a Los Angeles talent agency, he made the move to LA and with the help of an amazing voice teacher discovered his natural rich baritone and found his true love in the realm of musical theatre. Since then he has won critical acclaim for his performances across the country. Here are some examples of what has been said about his work; "Baritone Christopher Sanders commands the stage the way Don Quixote must", "Sanders dominates his scenes by virtue of his rich and powerful baritone", "His This Is The Moment is sung with such power, passion, and intensity that it brings the audience to its feet", and "holds his audience absolutely spellbound".

Christopher Sanders is an award winning actor/singer and has performed in venues around the world. Throughout his career, he has had the pleasure of working with George Hearn, Roddy McDowell, Carol Lawerence, John Raitt, Debbie Boone, and Rosemary Clooney. Theatrical credits include leading roles in; Jekyll & Hyde, Man of La Mancha, The Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Kiss Me Kate, and Into The Woods. His concert work includes engagements with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, Pasadena Pops, and The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra as the baritone for legendary 1940’s singing group, The Pied Pipers. Christopher resides in Connecticut with his wife and three children.

Authentic talent that deserves 10 stars!
Anyone who loves show tunes, or just overall good, hearty, strong voices will love Chris' style & selections of music on this CD. His interpretation of "The Impossible Dream" is probably my favorite. Chris has the kind of voice that doesn't come around often and when it does - it is one that listeners will treasure.

Delightful surprise!
Christopher's long awaited new CD is a salve for my noise weary ears and soul. Delighting me, as always, with his beautiful baritone, I am surprised and impressed to hear that his range has broadened to include breathtaking tenor tones. His rendition of Bring Him Home had me hanging on every note and left me in tears. Here, he revisits some of his (and our) old favorites from his cast of many characters, and tickles our fancy with some numbers that are new to his fans. With lovely orchestrations and some hip new arrangements, Curtain CAll is another Christopher Sanders masterpiece. Bravo!
