Christy Snow is a member of the International Native American Flute Association as a flutist and teacher.

Part of the mission statement of INAF is to encourage the continuation of the Native American Flute. Christy enjoys being a member of INAF since she shares this desire to educate and share the sacredness of this music that speaks so deeply to and from her soul.

She began playing Native American Flute in 2000 and since then she has released three flute CDs, taught hundreds of students and made over 100 flutes.

Christy has been performing music in the folk arena as a singer/songwriter since 1991 and the addition of the Native American Flute in 2000 was an awakening of a strong passion that she enjoys immensely. She says she feels that whether it is through playing, teaching or making flutes, the Native American Flute brings much healing and happiness. When she plays the flute she simply allows herself to be the vessel for the enchanting, captivating and Spirit led music to flow through.

She has added to her folk discography, three Native American Flute CDs. In December of 2001 she recorded her first flute CD “Remembering The Way” which is filled with healing intention and a meditative ambience. 2004 brought the release of Christy's second and third flute recordings, "Spirit Dance" and "Flute Meditations Vol.1" both of which continue with the meditative theme through a more moody approach. Christy's flute music is meditative, captivating and transformational, it will sweep you away.
