Album Notes

Chuck Cashmere is a dreamer, singer, songwriter, actor and lover of humanity. He has vast experience in the performing arts having appeared as an actor in award winning theatrical productions in Los Angeles and in regional and summer stock theater. His musical background includes performances in night clubs and musical theater.
During a tour of duty in the US Army he won the Fort Hood Texas entertainment contest as best vocalist. He has also
worked in the broadcast industry and is the author of several unproduced screenplays.

About "Song"
There are no sad songs. Nobody loses, gets drunk or shoots someone. There are no broken hearts and no one gets hit by a train. I wanted this compilation of my songs to be about the joy of living, the melancholy of
remembrance, the subtleties of feeling and expressing love in our relationships. I write Americana songs, the kind the baby boomer generation among others will understand. They'll have no problem understanding the words or singing along with the melody. The baby boomer boppers know what love and life is about.

My life had had its ups and downs, its economic disasters
and its share of heartaches and busted dreams. I often say, "Poker aside, I'm one of the luckiest men in the world." Upon completing "Song," I feel that way more than ever.
