Album Notes

We are Bobby & the Chuxx, although none of us are named Bobby or Chuck. We have been recording our music since 1980, when two of us didn't really know how to play our instruments. But that didn't stop us from making music and releasing albums -- or as we called them for many years "albums."

Now, it's almost 2008 and here's our 18th release. It's sort of like our 17th release (also available on this site), only it sounds better, it's funnier and we like it more. But isn't that how it is with your children? Don't you always love the newest one the most?

What do we sound like? Many things: a mother's love... new car smell... a freshly baked cake... a steep mountain road on a stormy night... kittens... robots contemplating tears... a Sony Betamax eating up your favorite videotape... a frat house after it has been Febreze'd... a panic attack... the band that got stranded on Gilligan's Island... daddy's breath after an office party... a band that might cover the theme from Lidsville (something we may still do).

So give it a listen. We think you'll like it. And if you don't, that's okay too.
