This album is John's first. It's a straight forward acoustic and vocal project with catchy melodies and words from his heart.

John has been writing songs for about 9 years now. His goal is to use music as a tool, guiding people towards questions about life and the one they are living. Using clever lyrics, springing from his experiences in life and his relationship with the God who has shown Himself to be more real than life, John has crafted song's that are not only pleasing to the ears, but to the soul.

"I just want to give people an opportunity to think about the possibility of them somehow being wrong in the way they've always lived. I'm not trying to point a finger, but just maybe I could encourage someone to think about God beyond what they have in the past. Music can sometimes speak volumes more than a conversation. What have I got to lose?"

"John just recently started a band called After Autumn. Look for new upcoming music soon.

Here's what other who own "When Time Stands Still" have to say...

The song "Through Your Eyes"

"This is a wonderfully intimate piece. This flawless vocal performance combined with a lyrically poignant melody has created a beautiful work. Original sound nicely complimented by a simple guitar accompaniment. Nice, nice song. Do not change a thing!"
-Courtney Jones
Pacific Northwest

"Beautiful man, just beautiful
Some songs make you stop typing and sit in your chair and listen. This is one of them - with a resounding "YES, dude! YES!" For the lack of any real dynamics I can't help but just sort of melt into this guys vocal performance (and I am a heterosexual, married man). I'll go out on a limb and say I bet this song is your baby. Nicely done."
New York

"Beautiful! Your vocals are tremendous. Simply put, this may be one of the best acoustic tracks that I've heard. The lyrics tell a great story along with the melodious guitar. Be proud of this. You did an excellent job."
-Moe Trainer
Philadelphia, Penn.

The Song "The Me Within"

"The melody to this song is very engaging. I was tapping my feet almost immediately. I love the emotion in the vocals, it adds to what are very strong lyrics. The bridge is great and adds some real depth to the track. Great job."
-Betsy Noimer
Glendale, Colorado

"I'm your fan! Immediately I was drawn into the lyrics, strong and musically delivered by a catchy vocal performance, I like your style of phrasing, maybe that's just your accent! Guitars are strong, well played and a perfect accompaniment to the vocals. Great little falsetto! I'd buy this if I heard it in a record shop. Good luck!
-Earl Marbled
North Yorkshire, United Kingdom

"What a catchy acoustic singer songwriter. You have a Damien Rice feel which is currently well liked, good lyrics and strong male vocals - your chord structure is one which works as it is hooky, keeps moving and returns to the hooks in a natural way, never forced. I’ll be humming this all night! Great work"
-Carl Freigner
