On her explosive debut album, this Atlanta-based singer/songwriter delivers a mix of pop, hip-hop, funk and soul. Expect sing-a-long choruses and memorable grooves from this quirky vocalist and her funk-laden band.

Since the release of Mochalatte in June 2002, Cidney Mills & Thriffshop have performed throughout the Southeast, including performances at the Athens Breastfest, Hard Rock Cafe' Atlanta and Mississippi's Montipaloosa Festival. The CD is also garnering alot of buzz in Atlanta and beyond, with songs from the CD winning Georgia Songwriter Awards. The CD in fact, placed #5 on the Top 20 at Sam Goody Records Underground Atlanta location, a feat "unbelievable for a local arist's debut CD", says Sam Goody manager, Erik Harris.

Cidney's prior job working in a costume shop becomes apparent in her ability to wear just about any outrageous outfit onstage. Performing with her, Thriffshop easily transitions between musical styles to help take the listener on a funktified journey.

The CD features an extremely catchy single, "Don't Stop The Music". The mix of new pop and retro grooves blends into a sound the band refers to as Roller-Boogie Funk! And Cidney Mills accepts the crown as the High Piestess of Phonkonya.
