Album Notes

Hello- here is my bio: I live and work in New Hampshire with my family, my dog, and my cat. I grew up playing classical piano and began to play guitar when i was in high school. I love and play all kinds of music and write my own when something touches me deeply- usually relationships with people, politics, whatever...My favorite styles of music are folky, for sure, but I also love reggae and anything with cool rhythms. The first nine songs on this CD were recorded back in 2003- since then I have written many many songs and will hopefully record some more of them soon. The last three songs on the CD were recorded in my living room in 2008. When performing I play a combination of originals and covers- usually about 50-50. My favorite artists to cover these days are Joni Mitchell, the Beatles and Jason Mraz but I also like to take old classics like "Under the Boardwalk" or "You're Just Too Good To Be True" and play and sing them reggae-style. I hope you enjoy my music.
