Album Notes

Cindy Roberts redefines the blue side of country with this collection of love, hurt, hope and happiness songs -- in a style that is most definitely all her own. Her powerful voice touches the soul with the grace of a woman who has lived life to it's fullest, has been cut by the blade of loneliness and despair, but hasn't lost sight of the hopeful side of love. From the gospel-tinged cover of Janis Joplin's "A Woman Left Lonely," a heart-shattering example of Cindy's bluesy side, to the infectious, radio-ready, country-pop power ballad "I Won't," she leaves little doubt that her vocal abilities are a force to be reckoned with. Listen to the delicacy of the Willie Nelson classic "Angel Flyin' Too Close To The Ground" -- Cindy clearly understands the pain associated with the underlying tone of that wondrous melody. The record also features Cindy's songwriting with the tender ballad, "The Wind Blows On" -- an introspective addressing the circle of life in a post 9-11 world. Cindy shows she can rock with no fear in the butt-kickin' "Gone For Good" and "I Can Love Anyone." Cindy Roberts comes on strong in her debut CD and leaves no doubt that this little gal from Georgia can move any audience.

Being in Music My self for 20 years I know real talent when I here it. The song "cry like memphis"caught my attention Cindy puts so much feeling in her music very stylistic super control and a lot of vocal power in her voice. I only one other time emailed a artist I don't usually do that but I am really impressed with her talent would love to see her come and play here in Oregon. Thanks again Cindy Love the album.

With 14 tracks to choose from one has to be able to find something they like. She is a very talented lady who seems to do well with every song on this cd. My favorite was Fight and make up. songs 4,7,9,13 and 14 were also ones I enjoyed listening to.
