I love this band; can't wait to see them live again! This addictive album does capture their sound well. Definitely one of my favorite Irish music albums - it has lots of variety, swaying from beautiful and lively instrumentals to dark and defiant anthems featuring lush vocal harmony. I recommend this album for your own collection, and for gifts from PDX!

Saw them life at Folklife and had to try the CD. Thankfully the cd is as energetic and inspired as their fantastic life performance! they have that extra spark that sets them apart from just the basic good bands and makes them one of the great ones! The cd is sharply produced with a clean fresh sound, with both strong vocals and excellent instrumentation, the songs flow well one into the next, and overall it's just a joy to listen to...and to spark the memory of their great set at Folklife! Keep it up--and hope to see you next year!
