Album Notes

Originally released in 1998 on Flying Tart Records, but barely noticed due to inadequate distribution and both label and distro tanking quickly thereafter, a Limited Edition (only 1000 made) version was re-issued by Retroactive Records October, 2005. Not only do fans get the Disengage album, but another entire album's worth of bonus tracks, i.e. Refractorchasm, which fills out the disc, making it a twofer. It was digitally re-mastered and features enhanced artwork. This was the last album ever released by the most influential Christian gothic industrial metal band ever. Later Scott Albert (aka Klay Scott, Klayton, and Celldweller) would go on to release mainstream albums by Angeldust, and most recently Celldweller. Expect pounding, aggressive gothic industrial metal full of angst and dissatisfaction with the status quo. For fans of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, HIM, Argyle Park, Klank, Ministry, and Prong. Songs include: 'Waste Of Time,' 'Refractor,' 'Yurasuka,' 'Babylon,' 'Chasm,' 'Thulcandra,' 'Blindeye,' 'Mesmerized,' 'Perelandra,' 'You Are Fragile,' 'Chasm (Version 2.1.0),' 'Refractor (Version 3.2.1),' 'Levler ( (Easier To Hate),' 'Hate Opened Wide,' 'Levler 2 (Alone To Die),' and 'Deadly Love (Censored Version).' 16 songs TT: 63:53 4-page insert w/lyrics

Circle of Dust / Klayton Scott were some of the main founders of Christian Industrial Metal, and it's easy to see why after listening to the many tracks on this album. Emotional lyrics composed with entracing, beautfiul riffs and synth beats.
