This CD is fantastic, and we have listened to it probably 2 times on the average each day that we have owned it. It has great growls and screams, and excellent smooth vocals. The lyrics were thought provoking and we could find something of ourselves in them. Ready for the next one!!!!!

Musically:
A metal influenced album with lots of keyboard effects for those nu-metal style fans.
To My One and Lonely you hear the aggression and hard drive with a barrage of drumming hitting your skulls, but also thrown in is scratching and keyboards. This is going to be a love hate approach to metal by many listeners. Overall, the scratching is not a major influence but can be annoying if it isn't your thing.
Kisses of Joy hits hard and fast with crunching guitars but again, the presence of scratching is dropped every once in awhile.
Thirty takes on a melodic approach that will be attractive if any listeners are Godsmack fans. The song takes several turns and hits hard with explosive bass lines and guitar hooks.
The Fall Guy Rebellion also has a similar sound and style as this one.
Love Hate Lullaby comes in and really slows down the pace with an acoustic influenced ballad.
The last couple tracks highlight the sampling and metal mixing of the bands presence.
Vocally/Lyrically
The nu-metal trend holds solid with the vocal performance as well. Taking on a persona of Korn meets Slipknot. The band does a great job of giving a good mix to both screaming, growls and vocal singing. A vocal presence that is powerful and full of depth. The lyrics take on a dark approach but have rays of light and hope. The lyrics take the pain and frustration that so many feel and filter them with a positive approach to life and standing up under your trials. A band with a Christian philosophy with directions of resolution.
