Civilized Animal is a name that is synonymous with explosive high energy live performances, creative songwriting and outstanding musicianship. Since their formation in 1997 they have independently sold over 15,000 records, toured the west extensively, and landed opening slots with some of the biggest names in music including; Smash Mouth, N-Sync,Sir Mix-Alot,Weird Al Yankovic, Fishbone, The Calling, Afroman,Presidents of the United States of America and many, many, more. Their sound is a highly creative and original blend of pop, punk,funk,and ska. Civilized Animal has recorded three full length albums and have appeared on several compilation CDs including the Hempelenium 2000 Compilation featuring Nirvana's Chris Novoselic, and Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead.
