CJ Palmer is a pop-rock band from Stockholm, Sweden and was formed in 2004.

The band recorded their debut album “Everything that shines” (produced by Ingemar Åberg) in 2005-2006. “Everything that shines” was released in Sweden on May 2nd, 2007 by Silver Road Records, an independent Swedish record label. Early in 2007, the single “Always” got massive airplay on the Swedish radio stations and commercially the song peaked at number 8 in the official Swedish single chart. The press comments about CJ Palmer have so far been very positive. Sweden’s major news paper Dagens Nyheter, wrote in January 2007 that: “CJ Palmer….is about to get a major break-through in Sweden”.

Outside of Sweden, the band continuously gaines more attention. According to the well-renowed Danish blog-site “Hits in the Car”: “…the songs are melodic, radio friendly and very, very catchy, and it will be a very (negative) surprise if this album doesn't find a large audience, as the music (in my opinion) should please the ears of lots and lots of people!”

The American blog-site abbamail.com wrote a very positive article about the album. The arcicle was called “CJ Palmer – A New Swedish Band Worth Checking Out”, and a couple of quotes read: “…”Everything that shines” is a perfect companion for the road” and “…CJ Palmer’s album further proof to me that Sweden is home to some of the best music on the planet.”

Over the last couple of years, the band has earned a reputation for being a great live act at the Stockholm music scene.
