In her late 30's Connie left a stable career, moved to Colorado, & began singing & writing -one song at a time-after a 15 year hiatus from music.

Now Connie has released her first CD of original songs,
entitled "surrender". Connie's style of POSITIVE POP, based on the ups & downs of daily life, entertains, uplifts & inspires the listener.

Born & raised in NE North Dakota, in a community of 200 people, resources were slim. Music was one of the only outlets available for self-expression. Born into a musical family, Connie first performed on stage at the age of 2-singing "Doggie in the Window" for a local event. Singing for school, church, weddings & community events was an ongoing occurrence -"just something you do". In high school, Connie competed before an audience of 5,000 & won awards for Miss Talent & Runner Up. As Connie entered college, the family moved to Las Vegas, NV, where school & a professional teaching career took precedence over singing. In her mid 30's, Connie's epiphany-of-sorts led her to surrender & begin a journey back to living in integrity with herself, expressing her passion for music, breathwork & teaching, and learning to surrender in trust to that Guiding Force behind all life. "We only have so many breaths allotted to us in this life, I don't want to waste any of mine doing things that aren't mine to do."

Connie is Music Director at a Colorado Springs Unity church, continues to write & share her songs as often as possible, & shares her passion by supporting others to awaken their voices & remember their song through her work as a Vocal Coach. Connie is also in the process of completing certification in Breath Therapy.
