With a relentless commitment to touring, writing and performing innovative and unique music, Clarias has come from performing at the smallest basement clubs to the likes of amphitheaters and stadiums. Their intense musical energy has earned Clarias a BMA nomination, and opening spots for bands like Bon Jovi, and Kanye West. The Boston Metro calls them, “the rare group you can recommend to both your music snob roommate and John Mayer-loving little sister.” Their last album, “Lines”, remained on the Newbury Comics Local Top 10 for 7 weeks straight and received airplay on WBOS 92.9FM, and WBMX Mix98.5FM. Already abuzz among fans, and critics their forthcoming album "The Days of the Getaway” explores sounds reminiscent of rock legends with multi-layered arrangements, and intricate vocal harmonies.
