Album Notes

If you've ever sat quietly in the woods, its just a matter of time before animals of the wild begin to arrive – moving quietly and shyly at first, then emboldened, they take over the place. Dave Clark’s music is the bounty of capturing these ideas and releasing them into the world. They spring forth in a variety of forms - from ballads and country, to latin rhythms and rock. The music is from the heart -- not by formula.

Dave Clark paints a contrast of the good times and tough times and is influenced by the story telling of Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, and James Taylor as well as the musical styles of Boz Skaggs, The Beatles, Elvis Costello and The Grateful Dead.

Honing his craft in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Dave is inspired by a close knit circle of friends. In particular the rock solid guitar power of John Sigafoos, the arranging talents and musicianship of Rich Meijer, the vocal style of Pete Meijer and the wordsmithing of Bill Temple (www.cdbaby.com/cd/gullyboys).

So sit back, turn up the sound, and go on a musical journey with Imaginary World. It’s a place that you will want to return to again and again.

REVIEWS

I left NPR for Dave Clark
author: Barbara
I finally found something that could pull me away from NPR. Soon after this CD arrived, I was singing along. The lyrics possess a deep, reflective awareness about life, yet are simply stated. This CD is very well done, with a great collection of songs. Pick it up, give it a listen; give this guy reason to continue doing what he does so well.

This is for anyone who loves pop/rock songs.
author: Lester
The voice is great. The lyrics are carefully crafted to perfection. The music will never leave you through out the day. In the day and age of sound-alike bands and singers comes Dave Clark with his unique style. He has the rare ability to take his style and apply it to his lyrics and music. And it shines through. "Imaginary World" is so appropriate for this time in history. The songs are great. Listen for yourself.
