Album Notes

I am a diverse songwriter and musician living near the ocean in New Jersey. My influences are wide ranging. Back to the Beatles, Eagles, CSN&Y, and up to David Byrne, and Jon Meyer. Very singer-songwriter, folk/rock/pop. I am competent on acoustic/electric and slide guitar, piano/synths/percussion and vocals. I write from an introspective point of view usually, but I know everyone can relate to these songs. They represent a year in my life, (2006). I recorded 2 drummers and 3 bass player friends of mine in my Sound Ideas Studio with my new Pro -Tools rig. I play all the other guitars and keyboards, and sang all the vocals. There are definatelly some positive and honest songs and melodies here. Some songs were inspired by my family. Too Beautifull, Superman, and Long Day are about my young sons Skylar and Marcus. Onward and Beautiful Night are for my wife Rasheeda. Made Up My Mind and My Happiness reveil my sobriety, (5 years),....
