>>>TWO SONGS FROM THIS CD HAVE BEEN PUT INTO ROTATION ON THE CHRISTMASRADIO.COM INTERNET SITE THAT PLAYS CHRISTMAS MUSIC YEAR ROUND.
Claud Rivers normally plays smooth jazz. However, on
this CD he combines traditional and contemporary jazz
styles. He has come up with some very good, new, and
fresh arrangements for several of our favorite
Christmas songs. This CD breaks the mold of Christmas
music being mundane. Claud has done new, modern
arrangement on each song and added updated beats.
This CD is perfect as background music for a
Christmastime gathering. It will surely foster
conversations among the listeners. It will also work
well as a sing-a-long while sitting by the fire on a
cold winter’s day. Claud’s original song, “It’s
Christmastime Again,” adds a European flavor to the
CD. It can easily be used as a Christmas Waltz
because of its 6/8 time meter. This CD is a “Must
Have” for saxophone lovers. Claud displays his smooth
expressive tone while playing the melody on soprano
and tenor saxes.
His “Deck The Jazz Hall-Dance Style” arrangement
(track #7) will have you dancing and playing this CD
over and over again. This is one of the songs added
to the Christmasradio.com Internet site. The other is
track #3, “O Come All Ye Faithful.” Check out these
new arrangements of classic Christmas tunes now and I
know you will want to own a copy.
