The River Wharfe, a collection of instrumentals.... a number of the songs on the album exude an old world charm, so unusual and delightful, and put me in mind of Anton Karas (most famous for writing the theme for The Third Man). But again, I find myself making comparisons in an attempt to convey Andy’s style, which in the end is his own, a kind of classical jazz. Andy writes and performs popular music at its best. I salute the confidence he has in his abilities, his willingness to go his own way, his enthusiasm for acoustic sound, the whole package….”
