Album Notes

Claythoveen’s “The Voice Of Reason”,

is an ethereal, majestic, heavenly, smooth, intrinsic, soulful,

dream catching, and gifted offering of spiritual, universal, and musical truths…

Claythoveen’s music lends credence to the way David’s harp chased demons out of Saul…

Fluently fluid and masterfully manipulated, Claythoveen’s music will take a listener on a moonstruct journey from the outside to the inside where they will find solace and peace in that secret place. His music will stream through the senses to the inner sanctuaries rendering a joyful listening journey of peaceful bliss.

If you are truly in the market for a CD that is cleverly crafted through sixth sensory perception gifts, then Claythoveen’s offering of “The Voice Of Reason” makes a still, small, quiet statement and a lot of sense.

Clayton Taylor ”Claythoveen”, is a 23 year old Native Washingtonian, a classically trained pianist who began his journey with the piano at the early age 5. He has always had a great love for piano growing up and has always loved the art of composing songs.

He wrote his first song on his grandmothers 41 key Casio keyboard with 7 note polyphony. It wasn’t until the age of 13 when his mother signed him up for his first piano lesson under the tutelage of Nevilla Ottley in 1998 at the Ottley Music School in Hyattsville Maryland. His first lesson was on June 8th 1998. From that day forward he took off with his piano studies.

After 2 years of lessons, he had his first solo debut in a concert playing the ‘Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor’ with full orchestra at the NIH Masur Auditorium.

Since then Claythoveen has branched off into gospel piano continuing with his classical studies. He now plays for several churches in the DC metropolitan area and teaches private lessons.

If one has had a trying and challenging day, challenge and treat yourself to something awe inspiring, something fresh, something unique and dares to partner with you on a listening journey to the deepest recesses of your soul.

There you will hear the true “Voice of Reason”….
