Album Notes

This Boston-based college-aged quintet outclassed their post-modern contemporaries in the early nineties with their striking, hook-laden debut album.

Following School of Fish, singer/guitarist Josh Clayton-Felt released several solo albums, including "Inarticulate Nature Boy", "Beautiful Nowhere", "...Felt Like Making a Live Record" as well as the posthumous releases "Spirit Touches Ground" and "Center of Six".

Sadly, Josh passed away on January 19, 2000 at the age of 32.

This album will enthrall you.

Some releases speak of music that you never get tired of hearing in a classic sense. School of Fish is such a recording; great songs, great performance, and a collection that stands up over the years as truly fantastic. I had not played this on for awhile, and now it's been stuck in my truck CD player for several days (and will remain there for quite awhile)! It is fortunate that this particular classic is still available for sharing with new SOF fans who are just now catching on! Go "catch" School of Fish!

Listen to this and fall in love. "Three Strange Days" was the hit, but you'll be spellbound before the intro track is done. Just as the track says, "Euphoria" (and the rest of this album) will keep you coming back again and again.
