Now, there's a Christmas carol just for you!

"(I Wanna Be) Dead By Christmas", the new single from punk-folk songwriter Clint Coker has just been released. Described on his website as "a Yuletide, suicide, sing-along-song for the entire family", the song takes an ironic jab at the urban myth of a rising suicide rate during the Holidays.

Receiving both pans and praises from Christmas-music reviewers, this tongue-in-cheek Christmas death-wish has been tagged by a number of podcasts for their Holiday season playlists, proving, perhaps, that the true spirit of Christmas isn't dead after all....just suicidal.
