The band was born in Napoli (Southern Italy) in 2004. Francesco Perzico (voice and guitars), Salvatore Elefante (bass) and Marco Biello (drums) had been playing punk rock for ten years and they all have in common the great passion for music. Francesco and Salvatore started their first band in 1995 and played gigs almost everywhere in Italy. Taking advantage of this experience they decided to start a new project : lyrics in Italian and a new sound with an evolution in the melodies and in the arrangements. The result was Clock , influenced by punk and rock and roll classics but also with an Italian touch. The strength of the band is an essential sound : guitar, bass and drums.
The songs are pop-rock standards with lyrics based on everyday experiences (that’s where the name Clock comes from). In January 2006 the band started a co-production with Red House Recordings Studio based in Senigallia ( Linea 77, Rob Ellis, Charlotte Hatherley, Max Gazzè…) to record their first work. Clock won the national contest Rock Targato Italia 2006 and their Ep (with four songs) came out in November, distributed and promoted by Ladymusicrecords.
