Singing for audiences and congregations, large and small, since the tender age of 5; Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Cynthia Liggins Thomas has been blessed with the gift of music that stirs the hearts of mankind for the Glory of God.
Realizing the purpose of her musical gifts, after college she founded LuvMo Music; literally \"Love More,\" with the heart and intention of sharing \"God\'s Love” through the music. Through Luvmo, she did her very first solo recording; recorded background vocals for many artists; recorded demonstrative vocals for musicals and shows; and recorded jingles for radio and television. In addition to a significant number of other performances, concerts and appearances, Cynthia was also a guest vocalist in a Gospel Brunch episode of the \"Emeril Live Show\".
She\'s worked with a vast number of notable musicians and singers. Performing in an annual Christmas concert at the historic St. Louis Cathedral with Ellis Marsalis, Jason Marsalis and Bill Huntington attracted thousands of tourists and locals in the New Orleans area. Then, in 2002, she recorded, as a guest artist, on the Ellis Marsalis \"Jazz at Christmas in New Orleans\" project.
As a member of the Stellar Award nominated group BLESSED, Cynthia also served as writer/producer of the group\'s self-titled CD (Blessed) and their second release (Journey for the Heart). The Journey for the Heart CD has had its place on the Billboard Gospel Top Forty chart, Billboard Christian Top Forty chart and received two Stellar Award nominations.
In 2003, she recorded her first National/International solo album, \"All About Love,\" by which came the release of her first Nationally aired Music Video \"Let Brotherly Love Continue.\" The video aired on Black Entertainment Television\'s \"Lift Every Voice,\" and Video Gospel; UPN\'s \"Gospel TV,” a host of other video shows throughout the country; and can still be seen on “The Word Network.” Reaching the hearts of millions, she was also a musical guest on The Harvest Show (LeSea), and Bobby Jones Gospel (BET). Featured on this release is her eminent song, \"Your Mercy,\" which is still greatly blessing others on Gospel and Inspirational radio stations throughout the world.
Cynthia\'s current release, “Collage” features an array of musical styles, including Gospel, CCM, Urban, & R&B; with tracks by musician, keyboardist \"extraordinaire,\" Shaun Martin. This project will take you through a collage of emotions, possessing the voltage to provoke a soul-felt dance, while sustaining the anointed power of God, ushering its listeners to His throne. By mid-summer, there will also be, through “Collage,” the Video release of her passionate song of healing, Beauty For Ashes.
