As other reviewers have pointed out the packaging is a little lacking, but the website has the liner notes you could ever need. It's great catchy music and brilliant spoof of multiple pop/rock genres. Being a classic rock fan, I love "Feel it" and "SOB". Very well done. Get volume two and your still paying less than one CD at your local store.

Brilliant
author: Chazaloo
A friend directed me to the Clubbo website, not telling me that it was a brilliant hoax, and I actually believed it for a minute, it was so well done! I had a great time reading the label's history, and the band bios. I thought that the songs wouldn't live up to the fabricated hype, but they do! The songs are tributes to pop eras gone by, lovingly crafted by people with talent and taste (and a sense of humor), as if it wasn't enough for them to love the history of rock music, they had to get inside it and feel what it would be like to create it. Especially fond of: Clipper Cowbridge, Tiger Love, and Action Plus.

This is the place to get "Soda Pop Shop" a big hit with history...
author: Anthony Gargiulo
Well, though most of the tracks are forgettable, this is the place to get the "Pop" (excuse the redundancy) smash, "Soda Pop Shop," a classic, rare Novelty quasi-hit from 1962, so if you're looking for that track, look no further, you've found it. Also has two other great tunes, "AZURE LADY NIGHTINGALE" and "CYBER MAGNOLIA," both standout tracks, making three hit songs for the low price of only ten bucks. You'll have to excuse the cheappo Clubbo cardboard envelope it comes in, but having the "Soda Pop Shop" at such a reasonable price, you gotta give 'em a break and thank the folks at CDBaby for putting this out. For collectors of Novelty songs, this is an absolute MUST HAVE. I'm glad I have mine! And I thank CDBaby/Clubbo Records for it. No collection would be complete without this one! Make sure you check out the Clubbo web site for the whole story on this and the other tunes on this "Sampler." - Highly recommended by Tony

Better than reality
author: Andy Sullivan
These may be make-believe bands on a make-believe label, but that doesn't mean they don't sound better than most "real" music out there. Rockfinger's "Feel It," in particular, is the best chump-rock anthem Bad Company never wrote. Highly recommended.
