very tasty!
author: bud
Luicdity is a very tasty CD. My favorite songs on this CD are the instrumental ones. They are instrumental, yet they are extremely lyrical and I find myself trying to remember the words to them as they are playing. CM has done a fantastic job on this CD. My favorite song on Lucidity is Intercoastal. There seem to be several interesting dark turns in this song and I've listened to it repeatedly today. Other favorites are Savvy, Keisha's Lament, and the fun Yellow Jacket Swim. There is a lot of substance to this CD. It's smooth and easy to listen to, yet interesting and an excellent re-listen over and over again. Double thumbs up CM!

Savvy: "...masterfully constructed jazz ... a helplessly gleeful foray into metr
author: Christopher Farmer (Gods of Music)
Review of the composition "Savvy", written and produced by Bob Gaynor, with trumpet by C M: Sing a song of happiness, or play one if you can. That's what C M so effortlessly does in his enlightening jazz piece, a helplessly gleeful foray into metropolis-like music; a theme song for a mover’s life. As fast as the people of New York, as charming as northern California, Savvy is a masterfully constructed jazz layer of percussion, horns, and xylophones singing in a harmony that begs you to tap your foot along with it. Oft I have found that the trumpet tends to be an overbearing instrument in jazz, but C M has taken my conception and turned it around. What is truly wonderful about Savvy is that none of the instruments compete for ear-space. Every beat, every shake, every toot and bang is heard with pleasing clarity. Whether it’s the recording quality or piece structure (quite possibly both), this piece is crisp and moving. C M’s musical pedigree does not betray him. Savvy is a wonderful introduction to C M’s musical library and talent. Those seeking for smoky blues-lounge down-low-tempo jazz best steer away, because C M is here to make you move. Wonderful piece.

Tasty and Smooth. Ear candy
author: Dolly Rappaport
CM's god given talent shines through every note he plays. His tone is smooth as silk and his solo's are flawless works of art. Ear candy is a good way to describe his album "Lucidity". Do yourself a favor and have a listen.

A master craftsman
author: Jeza
Working with my friend and transatlantic collaborator CM was a huge pleasure, comparing notes now, with the not one but two versions of the song 'Chasing after wind' on 'Lucidity', where he further explores the possibilities of the piece. The definitive Jeza version of the track will be appearing on my forthcoming follow up CD later in the summer. Multi-instrumentalist CM is well known for his many collaborations in cyberspace, encompassing styles from the upbeat 'Savvy' to the smooth jazz of Bob Gaynor and the calypso grooves of 'Swing low sweet chariot' with Kim Novak. Always pulling out a superb, technically polished performance. A keen community supporter and all round good guy !! cheers mister C
