Album Notes

Charles has composed in a number of different genres, jazz, classical, gospel, and instrumental. He and Mary have recorded 14 CDs between 1975 and 2007.

Charles has worked as a songwriter at MRC music in New York as well as played with or opposite such diverse musicians as the Miles Davis rhythm section in studio and Jimmy Hendrix and the Beach Boys on stage. He plays woodwinds piano and guitar and he and Mary do vocals together. Mary was a folk singer and sang professionally on the east coast.

Many Wings is a collection of worship songs written and performed over the last four years. Our thanks to our daughters, Esther Smith and Gloriana Minden, for adding their lovely voices to this album.
