Album Notes
"(short) film music volume one" is Christopher North's 7th album and his second film score release. Having completed the scores for 7 short films in 2008-2009 with strong responses, CN will launch shortfilmmusic.com soon to promote this album and bring together both "short music for film" (that is, short in duration, tracks for film) AND "music composed for short films." Is it possible for an 0:18 second long track to blow your mind? Listen to this album late at night with the shuffle engaged and see for yourself. Or then again, listen to "just wait" / track number 14 - the odd man out coming in at 5:05 - and create a movie in your mind. Oh yeah, just for you iphone fans, tracks 1 to 13 were recorded on an iphone (tweaked later in logic), as well the cover image captured looking out the window from the back of a nyc cab en route to a meeting with a director.
