Album Notes

Cocked N' Loaded has brought a new standard of excellence to the Boston music scene. The blues-based hard rock quartet is reviving the timeless passion of such greats as AC/DC, The Cult and Iggy Pop, while adding their own modern, unapologetic style.

The backbone of the four-piece is drummer, Rob Davol. With influences such as Phil Rudd and John Bonham, Davol delivers a simple, straightforward approach to modern rock drumming. Complementing this solid foundation is Michael Berardino's thunderous bass lines. He effortlessly blends driving grooves with subtle, yet infectious melodies. Their guitarist, Zackary Kolpan, a musician with roots deeply bedded in the blues styles of Freddy King and Duane Allman, delivers burning solos and sledgehammer riffs with a level of musicianship that takes each song to the next level of excitement and intensity. Finally, bringing the crowd to its knees, throughout every performance, in every venue, is singer Kyle Neeson. A true rock n' roll frontman, Neeson belts out heartfelt lyrics with a clever mix of Glen Danzig's raw power and Bon Scott's party attitude.

When I think of boston, I think of CRYING BOSOX fans about some BAMBINO'S CURSE, GANG GREEN, and AEROSMITH. Now! COCKED 'N' LOADED. 7 tracks of pure rock fury. My only problem with this disc, is that it's too short (HINT FELLAS). Why this band is not signed is a crime in it's self. If your into real rock and not your NICKELBACK/KORN wannabees, buy this little gem! I still don't believe i'm the first to review this hidden classic! It's also reviewed by a yankee fan! LOL!
