Album Notes

The members of Cocktail Angst combine excellent musicianship with a love of clowns, Latin rhythms and silly fun to create fine and entertaining music for the discerning masses to enjoy.

Led by the pretty and witty chanteuse, Toby Williams, Cocktail Angst has garnered a large and diverse following based on their incredible live performances and their two fabulous self-produced CDs. With John Dryden on piano/keyboards, Tom Beckham on vibraphone, John Mettam on cocktail drum and Tim Luntzel on bass, Cocktail Angst serves up a good time everytime!

Cocktail Angst combines the best of mambo, samba, exotica, jazz and swing with a healthy dose of Mancini-ish 60's soundtrack flavor thrown in for good measure. They also excel at very funny lyrics.

These songs are clever, funny and inventive. Great party music as well as listening while cleaning the house. But the fun factor is deceptive. These musicians can really play and the singer's voice is amazing..lovely tone and impressive range. Strong production quality too. You should buy it.
