Album Notes

"...extraordinarily unique..." -- North Vernon Sun

Code Blue, known as “Southern Indiana’s Best Live Rock & Roll Group”, has been rockin’ their hometown area since 1991 with a stimulating mix of rock & roll classics as well as their own original material.

The band released its debut CD, “Observations”, in 2007. The group’s music encompasses many influences (classic rock, blues, R&B, punk, Americana), distilled down into a unique sonic vision. With lyrics that offer viewpoints on subjects from world events to relationships, from human behavior to nothing at all, the end result is a fresh rock sound.

Fiercely independent, the CD was written, arranged, performed, produced and released by the band, consisting of John Connor on bass, Kenny Kirk on keyboards, Justin Purser on guitar & vocals, and Kenn Vest on drums & vocals.
