Codi was the kid that was playing guitar and singing country rock music with friends and then going home and listening to Snoop Dogg. He spent his teens playing in rock bands in Ogden, and used his free time during college at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City to play in Clubs, Bars, and events at the U of U. Upon graduating with a Bachelors Degree from the College of Planning and Architecture Codi decided that the city life did not suit him and quickly moved back to the Ogden Valley.
In true snowboard-bum fashion, Codi has been recording his debut CD “Vacation” at DK Studios in Ogden. He hired DK to produce and engineer the album. “DK is an Icon in the Utah Music Scene. He has produced or engineered over 70 albums throughout the western U.S., for major and indie artists, and it’s great to have someone with experience like that on my team.” Since the release of demo versions for "This is what I hear in my head" on online Social Networks like Myspace.com, Codi has seen more than 100,000 plays in less than 3 months.
"Those kind of numbers speak for themselves, everything musically has been so positive lately, I am excited to watch it grow."
After spending 6 grueling months in the studio, the Codi Jordan debut album “Vacation” is finally complete, and is receiving rave reviews from fans and industry professionals alike.
