The Coins of Catalina are: Victor Neil - Guitar/Vocals, Jack Fandray - Electric Bass and Jon Mason - Drums. The song “Cool as Can Be” tells it best… “Now that I’m grown, I prefer a splash of something strong, delivered by wings, with the sweet taste of key-lime pie.” How about pulling something out of the Psychedelic Toolbox. “It smells like hippie incense and sleeps in my garage and looks good in the trunk of my Dodge.” I highly recommend this remedy to being a Wallflower.

An Entertaining Ride
author: Gabe King
I can simply say that I like this album. The songs are lyrically great making it a fun listen. It has a modern earthy feel combined with a rocky edge. There’s a bold spin to David Bowie’s “Suffragette City” which sums up the bands overall true sound and the song Hey Lord pulls on my heartstrings, “Hey Lord don’t take me, I’m not finished with my song” In all, these songs go from alternative-country to an entertaining ride of rock quirkiness.
