ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As a child I was a big fan of music who always wanted to be an entertainer. I enjoyed a variety of music from Blues to Pop and remember very young wanting to be a singer like Whitney Houston. By 3rd grade I had learned to play the Violin and the Viola then began writing my own sheet music. Time passed I also picked up playing the guitar as well the piano by ear. I grew older while being raised by my single mother and older sisters I found myself pushed mentally and emotionally a lot with this burning desire to be a success in life, but my story no longer seemed to fit within the lines of being a pop singer. Moving around often I learned how to channel my feelings in writing. I would participate in talent shows as a singer, participated in piano recitals and choir concerts. While exploring my gift in poetry I discovered Hip Hop music being able to relate to artist like Mary J. Blidge, Tupac and Lauryn Hill and so on I began writing my own music in hopes that one day I could be an influential recording artist for others who may or may have been just like me and speak to and for them So here I am.
