John Colby , Grammy winning producer & composer of ESPN's Sportscenter theme turns his attention to his own band , The Colby's....

A musical gumbo of New Orleans, R&B, gospel and blues... They’ve been bringing Bourbon ST to the Northeast for 25 years...

The Colbys feature :

Bev Rohlehr (Ro-laire) - Jazz and R&B singer. Only woman to record with the legendary acapella group ‘The Persuasions’. Featured vocalist with the National Jazz Ensemble ( Smithsonian Records)

John Colby - Keyboardist, vocalist. Grammy, Emmy & Ace award winning composer and producer. Best known for his work on Ken Burns ‘Civil War’ and ‘Baseball’. Composer of themes for ESPN’s ‘Sportscenter’ & ESPYs, Fox’s ‘Best Damn Sports Show’, NFL on NBC. Music director of the Clarence Clemons Band.

They are joined by an assortment of veteran R&B all-stars including:

The CD features 9 original songs and very unique covers by Keb Mo, Oscar Brown Jr. and renowned Nashville writer Gary Nicholson.
