COLD Forty Three’s "indie/garage punk attitude" is obvious in the choice of their album title, "From the Garage To Your Speakers," and it is reflected in every aspect of their music and lifestyle.
The bands cutting-edge rock & roll is powerful and melodic, with a boisterous energy that comes from a genuine love for a life of music. Influenced by emo, punk and hardcore equally, the band takes inspiration from the likes of Blink 182, Minor Threat and Green Day, seamlessly incorporating harmony and aggression into a rambunctious mix that is universally appealing.
Convinced that their talent, hard work and determination would put them over the top, they set about creating a plan for success. Their guerrilla marketing campaign combined Internet marketing, personal calls to their mailing list in each market, and taking their CDs directly to potential fans in malls and colleges. Once their goals were defined, the band promptly headed out on the road, after booking themselves (no easy feat) a six-month National tour.
They succeeded in building a strong underground following of self-made fans. Impressed by their music and uncompromising drive, Chamberlain Records signed the band in the summer of 2008. Shortly after the new CD was recorded, Cold Forty Three was featured on FUSE TV’s Rock Bottom reality show which catapulted them into a national buzz. Ultimately, “FROM THE GARAGE TO YOUR SPEAKERS” is chock full of original songs with infectious hooks and a pop/punk edge standouts include "It All Comes Back To Me" and "My California". They will continue their quest for world domination, touring and connecting with fans through 2009 and beyond. With talent, charm and an amazing work ethic, COLD Forty Three are a band that is bound to bang lots of chicks.
