CD IN STOCK. ORDER NOW. Will ship immediately.
Folks say they can hear a bit of that 90's UK thing (Stone Roses, Oasis) sprinkled on a healthy dose of American Grade A radio rock (Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, STP), stuff like that. Sounds about right to us.

notes
Colic began a couple of years ago. The band's sound contains elements of mid 90s Britpop (Oasis, Stone Roses) mixed with American alternative radio rock (Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Stone Temple Pilots).
Over the past year or so, the band has steadily played the upper Midwest, including the last two Warped Tour Detroit stops. The band recently put out their first self released EP, and the single "Promise Me Anything" has been picking up spins on stations like 89X, WRIF, KPNT, KTCL,WKGB,KSPI, XM Unsigned (featured on Radar Report 7/15) and many more.
Colic has recently been writing and recording with Chris and Drew Peters, who are co-authors of the current Black Eyed Peas hit single "Don't Lie" (as well as having worked with the likes of Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, Electric Six, etc.). Some of these songs are contained on the new EP, but writing is ongoing.
Colic is:
Nick Quinn (Vocals, Guitar)
Jon Faigle (Guitar, Vocals)
Mike Dundon (Bass)
Brent Nagy (Drums)

A gift to rock 'n roll
author: Jeff "Chili Mac" MacMillanThis is perhaps the band with more potential for greatness than I've seen in a long time. If they keep coming up with hits like "Promise me Anything," then they will have a bright future ahead of them. The soft, somber, "1000 miles away," is a tribute to the singer's great voice. Being a former drummer, I took immediate notice to the powerful beats and creative fills in the melodies. If you can't enjoy the fill at the 41st second of "Promise me anything," then you might want to check your pulse. The price for this EP is a bargain. Finally a band that gets it right, not too overpowering and not too soft.
Detroit Rockers Sprinkle On The UK Flare
author: Donn BialikDetroit keeps turning out great bands, but Colic stands out and is definitely no pain in the gut! Their drummer, De Nage as we used to call him, keeps perfect time and helps bring Colic to another level of musicality. If you like your rock with a dash of UK salt, then grab this gem of an EP!
COLICKY WEEKEND GOODNESS
author: Motor City RocksAfter dropping a series demos since 2003, Detroit rock act Colic celebrates the release of its first legit studio CD with a gig this Friday, June 17th, at the Magic Bag in Ferndale. The band's honed its sound recently, and the loud guitar flare-ups of old have been muted, putting more well-deserved focus on the rhythm section. That's not to say the six-stringers don't still crunch at times, as the riffs, breakdown and guitar solo of "Wake Me Up" follow a ripe rock template. First and foremost, though, the EP is about simplistic, catchy songwriting - best evidenced by sing-along "You Don't Know Why" and pop-radio ready "Away From You." Check out MP3s of EP tracks "Promise Me Anything" and the aforementioned "Wake Me Up" on the band's website. posted by Mister Gary
